Becoming a Member

The success of DSO depends heavily on students, faculty, and alumni becoming involved and enriching this wonderful resource with their own personal experiences. Currently, a membership is free, and you can participate in any way in which you are able. The only obligation is that you must possess the will to help yourself and others succeed.

Join Us!

While we hold meetings bi-monthly, the days and times of the meetings change every semester. You can either email the group at DSO@uis.edu or use the contact us page. If you are interested, you can sign up for the DSO email list and receive any last-minute changes on meeting dates and times.

Once you join, you will be given access to the BlackBoard area where you can interact with DSO members at any time. The BlackBoard course will also have copies of the meeting minutes for members to review if they missed a meeting.
