Past DSO Events

In recent years, DSO has sponsored or collaborated on several projects and events in hopes of increasing awareness of individuals with disabilities. Some of those events are:

Facepainting with children in University Housing;

Comedian and Motivational Speaker Matt Glowacki;

Booksigning with local author Richard Guerra;

2008 Voter Registration;

and Wheelchair-a-thons to help illustrate daily hardships of life in a wheelchair.

DSO has also held several other events including a year-ending Social Justice Gala in which DSO partners with other student advocacy organizations. These galas represent the successfull conclusion to another year in solidarity. Join DSO today and help us plan even more events!
