About Us
Christian Student Fellowship is a non-denominational Christian community of students at the University of Illinois at Springfield and Lincoln Land Community College. We are both a non-profit organization, and a registered student organization at both schools.
CSF began in the fall of 1993 as the first campus ministry at the University of Illinois at Springfield (then Sangamon State University). Today, we are governed by a board of Directors representing more than 15 supporting churches who are excited about seeing college students encounter God on a university campus.
Mission: CSF exists to provide a safe community where students can encounter God.
Meet our staff:
Todd and Gretchen Magruder were married in 1991, and began Christian Student Fellowship at UIS (then Sangamon State University) in 1993 with the help of several area churches. Todd and Gretchen have 2 daughters, Sarah Jane and Sophia, and are waiting to bring home another daughter from Ethiopia!
David and Lindsey Lasley were recently married December of 2007. They graduated from UIS in 2007 after being active in CSF as students for several years. They are excited for their first official year as staff members for CSF.
