Our Mission

Advocates For Academics was created in Fall 2004 to serve the UIS and the Springfield community to help them achieve their academic excellence.

Being a part of the Center for Teaching and Learning, AFA is comprised of Teaching Assistants at the Center, and any UIS student interested in promoting our goals.

Our prime goal is to help students excel in their academic performance. Our desire is to help them achieve their goals and to further develop the scholastic community.
