September and October: Part One

Alright guys - here I go. I want to tell you about my last two months: the end of September and pretty much all of October =D
** Also, to start, I want any of you who reads this to punch me in the arm if you see me, I deserve it for not blogging 4-EVER. No more shall I be such a slacker!! I'm gonna blog twice a week, and its gonna rock. ** (And if I don't, hassle me hardcore!)

And it's not like I don't want you guys to know what's been going on. It's really that I'm a big slacker. Hope you still enjoy the following -

Random Pics

So we start with some random pics, taken anywhere from early september to a couple days ago =D

Heres Mr. Adam Waters, an awesome resident of mine. This kid is hardcore - he started working on a 'camping club,' because he just liked camping out on the quad Thursday nights. I couldn't believe it - he was out there in like freezing weather and even some light drizzle. Here he is on a bike


This game is called "Dr. Mario." It is A-Maze-Ing. No words can describe its beauty, complexity, or addictivity (is that a word? hmm...). Myself and Ian have played this game for too many hours to count. We actually have a running score tally of wins. Ian has me by like a 3 to 1 ratio.

Three words - What the Crap.



B-Day!
Here's some pictures of some awesome people. So pretend that its September 28th. Jeff Black, Todd Magruder, Josh Frazee and I were sitting in the One South lounge of Lincoln Residence Hall doing our Bible study. Oh, by the way, its my birthday. We finish our Bible study, and I'm walking down the One South hallway... and I hear voices in my room. I open the door, and theres like 15 people chilling in my room, with a BRAND NEW WORKING SUPERNINTENDO!!!! I think that was about when I wet myself =D
These people all rock my world -


Well, you know Ian and Matt. But the other two are way cooler (lol): Melissa and Dan. Awesome kids.


Heres Tad, Hanna, Heather, and Jennifer. Tad is pointing at Hannah. I don't know why, I guess you should ask him. While you're at it, ask him about his beard too.


Here's Cristi and Erin. They also R0x0r. FYI. =)

Like I said, I found a new Super Nintendo in my room. But honestly, they all pitched in to buy me one, because my old one cut out. There were other people involved too, and I want all of you to know I am so thankful for it. Thanks guys.


**And then, about 15 minutes later, it began.**

Yes, Bob is playing the Super. And yes, we are all watching... T.V.....
And so went the next three weeks in my room, between myself, Ian, or Bob, we played the Super Nintendo for at least... oh... twelve hours a day, to venture a conservative estimate =D

So here we are... getting ready to go to the Cardinals Game!!!

All these people rock: Lindsey, David, Kyle, Bob, Shelly, TJ, and... I don't know, some bum who got stuck in the picture =D

We drove from Springfield to downtown St. Louis; Lindsey driving, with David, Bob, and I in the car. Well, we did stop once, to get lunch at Wendy's. And thats when we saw it!! The Mario toy!!! Bob and I knew we had to get it... So we asked the cashier if we could just buy the toy. Of course, being the devious but so delicious supergiant corporation that Wendy's is, they only sold the toy if we bought the kid's meal. So we did; Bob and I both bought a kid's meal, in addition to our regular value meals. So, we had quite a blast on our way to St. Louis, eating our five pounds of food, and playing with our Mario dolls.

I love St. Louis. Its such a beautiful city -

This stadium is so cool -

And it was an amazing day for baseball. Can you believe that I was actually going to stay at school and do homework! =D (Thanks David and Bob, for talking me out of that one)


But then it happened. Mario fell.

The poor guy. He still had so many Bowsers to stomp.
(I would have went and got him, but it was only like the 2nd inning, and I kind of wanted to see the baseball game... I hope he's ok, in the hands of a caring six year old cards fan somewhere)

Ah, those were the days. Beautiful September skies, warm weather with a cool breeze, frisbee, baseball, and psycho HRC events with oatmeal.
