the second nite!

the second nite here me and my roomie went to everything we had to and then we chilled in our room. Her mom had brought a huge gallon of arizona sweet tea, my roomie Liza didnt like it so she dared me to drink it all in a day. I waited till around 7pm and then i started to drink it. BAD IDEA....just kidding i was able to drink it in like 3 and a half hours. here are some pics below. On the way back to our room we met one of our now really good friends Tim. The dorms rock, the first couple of nights we met people just walking to our room after getting food. This was a good night! After this night i slept in late, when we woke up at 1:30pm we went to the PAC for lunch? and then we remodeled our room. When i had moved in i had wanted my bed lofted and i thought id be ok but i didnt like my bed that high and neither did my roomie so we unlofted our beds and raised hers and then took my mattress and stuck it on the floor. this living arrangement is alot better. id like you all to keep in mind that four girls including me did this all. Well, with a little help from our friend Joe. He was definitely very helpful. Thanks Joe. So after getting all of this figured out we were hanging out in Tim's room when he opened up about how he wanted his bed lower. My roomie and me left the room and got our tools. We helped him unloft his bed at around 12:30am. hahhaha that was a fun. He thought we could not do it.....but we did. The next day we unlofted his roommates bed. We're pretty much experts! This is when we found a huge tv box under Tims bed. My roommate asked me if i would fit in there so i got in......then sam asked me to get in to his duffel bag because he thought id fit. And i did. So we....and by we i mean they got the great idea to go to our RA's room and give him me in the duffel bag but he was not there so when we saw him later we decided getting a tv would be even better, so they put the bag in the box with me in it. Then, they pushed the box to his door and he opened it. Best tv hes gotten i bet!

Move in day!

Wednesday- August 15
~ hi guys......let me start off by introducing myself. My name is Estela Guzman, I'm a traditional freshman with some college credits. I graduated a semester early so i took some classes at my local community college because i thought college would be an extremely different situation for me. But i was wrong, i did really well. Anyway, i live in Lincoln Residence Hall, the only dorms so far. I love it....i recommend it ot people who want to be involved and like being around people 24/7. And when filling out the housing survey be honest because if your not your gonna get a roomate that is screwed up and you guys wont get along. i LOVE my roomie...shes amazing.......im glad shes here with me, we help each other through tough times. Which is supposedly in the first 9 weeks. Im glad i have someone here with me. im super glad its her. And classes are going good kinda/ extremely boring but school is school. Good times to come.
