Frank Lesko has been serving for the past ten years as your Elected Trustee on the Springfield Park Board. As an elected official, Frank has been an effective steward of public funds, in working to keep property taxes down, while optimizing the use of resources. He also currently serves as the Operations Manager for the Sangamon County Highway Department, so he was a key part of the recovery efforts for all Sangamon County municipalities, in the aftermath of the snowstorms. Frank Lesko has proven his value as a public servant, and will continue to work to be an effective voice for the residents of Ward 4 and the taxpayers of the City of Springfield. Frank is a proud "lifelong Northender" - He and his family have lived in this area for generations. During his entire adult life, he has been known for his involvement in public policy and community activism, due to his strong interest in the betterment of our neighborhoods. He will continue to be an avid spokesperson for you and your families, on the City Council. A dedicated husband and father, Frank Lesko is committed to enhancing the quality of life for families and children. Frank believes that all parts of Springfield should receive the same amount of services and attention, and he will work to ensure that residents of the 4th Ward are not neglected as our city continues to grow. He will work to make sure that you and your neighbors feel safe in your homes, have sufficient police protection, and he will work for balanced economic development throughout our Ward. Frank Lesko has owned and operated a Northend business, Abe's Trading Post, for the past 18 years. His understanding of business management and his experiences in public service provide him with a solid background in regards to the issues important to Ward 4. Frank knows how to strike the balance necessary for good government and good business, and looks forward to using his experience to serve you on the City Council. |
