As indicated before, we
are very much in need of financial support, to maintain our
level of successful student activism, political involvement,
issue advocacy, community work, and social volunteerism, and
other activities - at the local, state, and national level. If
you are unable to make a donation at this time, there may still
be another way that you can contribute to our efforts. Join
the the College Republicans recycling program!
Each year, millions of electronic items, office and educational
supplies, books and magazines, media equipment, travel accessories,
food and beverages, and other unwanted items are discarded or
thrown away. Your unused "junk" however, could be of
use to us. This web page is where we will list the non-monetary
donations that we are currently in short supply (or complete
lack) of, but which would be of significant benefit to our organization.
In addition to tangible items and supplies, non-tangible goods
or services will also be listed here.
Most current needs
- computer printer (any working
model will do)
- printer ink cartridges
- postage stamps
Ongoing needs
- printer & photocopier paper (standard 8.5" x 11" paper) - especially
colored paper
- any travel supplies or accessories (We've
been to Washington, D.C., for major events, five times
during the past two years.)
- transferable plane tickets, frequent
flier miles, use of travel accounts, etc.
- any office supplies or accessories (folders, notebooks, clipboards, etc...)
- VHS tapes
- anything of value that we may be able to use in a prize raffle
or silent auction
Needed services
- Printing,
photocopying, and publishing
- Television advertising, radio advertising, newspaper
and other print advertising
- Web banner ads
and online advertising
- Public relations, media and lobbying services
- Fundraising services, event planning & catering services
- Other professional or commercial
services
Being a student-led organization,
our personal financial, commercial, and networking resources
are especially limited. We need the support of those outside
this university, so that we can continue our work, throughout
our capital-city campus and
local communities, other parts of the state, and at the national
level as well (which we
have been doing
during the
past couple of years).
Please contribute to our cause, and show your support for a better
America.
All contributions [whether monetary
or otherwise] to the UIS College Republicans will be put to good
use, and will be used for our purposes only. Since 2001, College
Republicans organizations are
no longer affiliated with the local, state, or national Republican
Party. We are federally recognized as a non-partisan student
activist organization.
Think you can help us out? Please look over the information
below, and join us on the path to a greater United States.
