Thank goodness for Thanksgiving!!

After a very long 11 or 12 weeks of school without any real breaks, I was ready for Thanksgiving break!!! So far, it's been great! Especially little things like not having to get my homework done RIGHT NOW, not having to wake up by an alarm clock, and seeing old friends who are back in the area.

Yesterday, I went to lunch with my best friend from high school who attends SIUE. It was great to catch up and hear about all our friends that are spread out in colleges all over the midwest. Then last night I was able to hang out with a bunch of my friends from elementary school/junior high. One of them is going to college in Texas, and this is her first time back since summer. So it's been really great to see old friends and get to spend time with them.

One of my sisters comes home tonight from college in Indiana, so I'm excited to see her. Tomorrow we're going to try to get a head start on some Christmas shopping. I can't wait for Christmas!! My other sister arrives home on Friday night with her husband. We're hoping to go see a movie & get some fondu desert on Friday night, which should be fun! And of course, I'm looking forward to heading to St. Louis to my grandma's on Thursday for lots of food (and hopefully some football too)!!! :)
