The adventure begins...

This week has been one of the craziest weeks ever for me. Not only did I start school, but I also started my new job on campus as student advising assistant. These two new things mixed with an additional nineteen credit hour week and an off-campus job make me one busy girl. But that’s okay. I like being busy =)

College at UIS is different from what I expected from college. I knew that I would have to study a lot, but I didn’t expect to have homework from every class the first day. One of my teacher’s even gave out a pop quiz on the first reading assignment. I think that either the professors are just preparing me for what is to come or else they’re just using a scare tactic. I’ve yet to decide which….

Even though I don't live on campus, there’s always something to do here. College is so much better than high school.
